Senior School

St Brendan's College Senior School Curriculum spans Years 11 and 12, representing a crucial phase in a student's academic journey. The College provides a diverse range of senior subjects tailored to accommodate the varied abilities, interests and pathways of young men. With the adoption of the ATAR system in Queensland, the four types of senior subjects—General, Applied, Vocational, and School Endorsed—cater to different career pathways. General subjects are designed for those inclined toward tertiary studies, while Applied subjects suit students interested in vocational education or work. The VET qualifications, emphasised through a distinguished VET Centre, offer hands-on experiences, and are recognised nationally. School endorsed subjects, encompassing Literacy and Numeracy Short Courses and Private Music Tuition, contribute to Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) attainment or provide additional certification in specific areas of interest, completing a comprehensive senior education experience.
